Blogging has emerged as a lucrative career for many people. It is a great way to make money as you can monetize it in multiple ways. Bloggers can earn money through affiliate marketing, affiliate sales, and sponsored posts. They can also sell their products or services through blogs.
4. Grow Your Email List with Pop-Ups
These sites try to gain visitors by using various ways including pop-up windows. Traditionally, these interruptions were considered spam and designed to lure visitors into giving away personal information that could be used against them later.
Why is that? In your opinion, people can’t be annoyed.
But here’s the thing…
That’s where the money comes from. The size of your email list can be a good predictor of the revenue you’ll make on a blog. Here’s what I found in my Smart Blogger stats:
The formula for calculating the size of your email subscriber list is $1 per 10,000 subscribers. This means that you should be making about $10,000 a month.
Pop-ups have been a controversial topic since their development, but as more conversion-focused marketers, we must be willing to experiment with different tactics in order
to succeed in our business goals. You can try out the use of pop-ups for your email marketing outreach.

Here’s a different way of looking at it:
People who haven’t given you their email addresses could be out there. You should consider setting up a contact page on your website so it’s easy for them to reach you. That
way, they might consider returning to your site in the future and continue to buy things!
You believe your content is the best, so you’ve been providing it for free. However, people start to recognize your work and request more of the same -for nothing- expecting
a huge payoff in return. They continue to ignore you and can get very annoying at times. In other words, not using a pop-up is unethical.
Remember, that doesn’t mean you have to be extremely pushy or spammy. You can use pop-ups in authentic ways.
5. Begin Monetizing with Affiliate Programs
So, you’re operating in a profitable niche, and you have traffic and an email list. The key to success is working on organic SEO to increase domain authority.
New creators should consider carefully their audience and how they want to reach that audience before jumping into the process of creating something new. When you are starting as a business owner, it is important to establish that you have the right products that want people to want to buy. Do not take risks with empty promises of new and shiny things just to sell.
The simplest way to obtain that evidence:
Affiliate programs.
By seeing what other people buy, you can get a better sense of how you might be able to create something that would interest your audience. If an affiliate product was
successful for somebody else, it might be a good idea to try. However, if it didn’t perform well then maybe the market is already saturated, and marketing the same product would not be as effective.
You just so happen to get paid commissions on the products your customers buy in the process; this is market research done for you! Working from home and blogging have many
benefits. You can make extra money from it, you can learn about the market around you, and you have more flexibility to choose what you want to blog about.
I’ve tried lots of different offers at Smart Blogger and learned the most from our webinars, workshops, and practical courses. Here’s what I’ve discovered.
- For instance, here’s a screenshot showing us as the first affiliate for Danny Iny’s Course Builder’s Laboratory.
- Tools with a clear connection to money-making are easier to sell because they haven’t been out of business for years. Here’s a screenshot of our earnings from promoting LeadPages – the top-traded tool on all the marketplaces.
Neither of these marketing promotions was particularly successful in driving revenue, but they did teach us valuable lessons that have helped us create Freedom Machine.
6. Develop a Unique Mechanism
Rest assured that human nature itself doesn’t change overnight and there may be some bumps along the way. However, if you start your SKU or service offering now, it will only benefit you in the long run.
Whenever anyone purchases anything, they expect to transition from where they are now (Point A) to where they want to be (Point B). For example…
- When you buy pizza, the transition from point A to point B must happen seamlessly and slowly. Otherwise, this will lead to taking in excess calories, feeling unsatisfied, or getting sick.
- When you hire a plumber, the transition from having a clogged toilet to having a normally functioning toilet can take a few days.
- When you buy a course on SEO, you want to benefit from better organic traffic and discover strategies that will help improve your ranking. When you search for competitive terms, you’ll also be found easier by Google and won’t get ignored.
- Ultimately, the success of a project relies on helping your customers move through the process easily and seamlessly. If your customer doesn’t make the product transition, it will fail for them.
So, here’s the magic question:
What makes you better equipped to deliver that transition than your competitors?
Your “unique mechanism” is a different way to market your niche that sets you apart from other people. It’s not a “unique selling proposition,” because it’s something
about you and it also has benefits for your customers. Some personal preferences and experiences help make you more qualified to help others with their needs, in comparison to the average salesperson.

7. Launch the Minimum Viable Funnel
Successful entrepreneurs tend to sell their products before creating them. This is an incredibly wise decision as digital distribution platforms now exist which allow for
instant visibility – no invention required!
This isn’t the future. This is an established company, and it’s going through with it for future generations.
The answer:
It’s the same principle as Kickstarter.
You create a fancy, minimal sales funnel with a lot of tempting features (in this case, just a simple sales page), tell people the product is coming soon, and wait to see if they are interested in its benefits. If they’re not, you refund everyone’s money. Validation is the process of confirming that you have a viable product, especially from a technical perspective. The steps follow suit:
Distinguish requests by advancing associate items
Track down a remarkable component that makes you prevalent
Work at Home Online Jobs – Work From Home
Test your interest for that remarkable instrument with a down-to-business send-off before you make the item
The first time I did a test with a webinar, there was no product or follow-up sequence. It was just a bare-bones test.
And with that success, we realized the opportunity for this product to grow. With $30,000 as our minimum for success, we went ahead and started selling to students on
the first version of our product. It’s been about a year now since then and is approaching a million dollars in sales.
That’s also just one product. We have more in the pipeline, and it caters to a variety of audiences in different ways.
