Taking surveys online is one of the easiest ways to make a little money from home; they’re fast and easy and give you the flexibility to work whenever it’s most convenient for you. You can register with as many panels as you like, which means that if one company stops paying out, there will be another waiting to reward your opinion.

Is this actually a question? No, of course not. Novelty shops and magic stores might be also known as “conjuring goods” stores, but they certainly won’t make you rich. If all you’re looking for is a little spare change, selling novelty toys or giving advice on the occult would likely result in more success.
Survey sites will provide you with a small but regular income, earning on average $50-200 each month.
When it comes to survey sites, not all are created equal.
I’ve tried many online survey sites, and found that some were more useful than others.

Here are my top 5 survey sites that actually pay well in 2022:
- 1 Prolific
- 2 Pinecone Research
- 3 YouGov
- 4 GlobalTestMarket
- 5 PopulusLive
Prolific
If you only join one survey site, make it this one!
Prolific has been my most reliable survey site because they never screen me out. That’s what I love about it – and also the most frustrating thing with other sites.
You’ll get a notification when a new survey is available. You’ll be paid for your time.
You will not get anything from the AI that you did not ask for, so this aspect of it is totally transparent: before any survey starts, you will know how much it takes, how much time it will take, and the hourly fee equivalent.
Many surveys on Prolific generally pay at least £5 per hour, and some even give up to £6, £7, or more. One of the highest paying survey sites out there!
Paysafecard is a popular payment option on our website, and you can get your money as soon as you want. To avoid any fees, wait until you have £20 before making a withdrawal to Circle.
Tip: On this site, surveys can attract a lot of responses, so don’t wait for emails to come through before starting your next survey because you might miss out on the chance to get many responses! I recommend setting up Prolific in your browser tab and staying up to date by setting notifications from the start so you never stop receiving updated information about surveys as they happen.
Pinecone Research
Pinecone Research is a survey site that, unlike some, pays really well! Each survey pays €3. I love how they are so transparent and I don’t have to spend 30 minutes completing a survey to find out it’s only worth 20 points.
With payments starting from just £3, it’s easy to cash out and get money in no time – perfect when you’re in a hurry.
Pinecone Research is a little tougher to get involved with than other survey sites. You can’t sign up for it straight away, unlike many other survey sites. Instead, you have to find a Pinecone Research sign up link or invitation. Luckily, I’m able to share a Pinecone sign up form for UK residents.
At the time of writing, Pinecone Research is recruiting members from the UK. They are looking for specific profiles, but these may change at any time. You’re welcome to apply at this website through that link. If you fit the profile they’re looking for, they will send you a notification when a survey is suitable for you.
Sometimes you can also get free products to test through this site.
YouGov
YouGov is another survey site that I really like.
It’s a slow starter, but it builds up to be really rewarding! The minimum donation is £50, but taking an hour to get there could still have you earning the same as other top faucets. I think that the £50 is probably more satisfying because of the mental leap you have to take in order to get there. In our modern society, £50 isn’t as valuable as it used to be.
YouGov is the easiest way to make money quickly. All you need to do is complete our short surveys that take less than 5 minutes and get 50pts each time (50p). You can start earning points today once you’ve logged in.
YouGov is known for its surveys about politics and society. If you’re interested in what’s going on, or want to know more about American opinions on certain topics, you should check out their data.

GlobalTestMarket
Have you had a chance to look at GlobalTestMarket? I seem to be constantly seeing their surveys, so they must always have offers available. The reward isn’t high, but you can often take one or two surveys in a day and the cash just builds up.
You also have the chance to enter a sweepstakes when you get screened out, so even if you don’t make it in, you’ll still be eligible for prizes.
The installment limit is £30 and you can get compensated to PayPal or in different gift vouchers.
You earn rewards points in this way, and the number of points you receive changes depending on what you want to redeem them for. For example, you can get £5 worth of Amazon credit for fewer points than £5 PayPal cash.
PopulusLive
PopulusLive pays very well compared to other survey sites. They give you 1 pound per 5 minutes of every completed survey, which works out at 12 pounds an hour.
It’s true that sometimes you might get screened out of surveys midway through, but fortunately there are many available to do.
Furthermore, you need to have £50 in your account to receive a cheque. Once £50 is reached, a cheque will be sent at the next payment run.
